Jet announces check-in service at 2 Delhi metro stations

Domestic passengers of Jet Airways can now check-in from two Delhi Airport Metro Express Line stations from Friday. "Jet Airways is pleased to announce the commencement of its city check-in services at three Delhi Airport Metro Express Line stations from June 10," said Sudheer Raghavan, chief comme
rcial officer of Jet Airways.
However, the Dhaula Kuan station is yet to be opened.
The passengers using this metro service may now check-in for their flights at the metro airport terminals itself, ensuring a more comfortable, seamless and convenient travel experience for its guests, Raghavan added.
The city check-in facility would be available for passengers at the New Delhi, Shivaji Stadium and Dhaula Kuan airport express line metro stations. A special CCI identification label and baggage tag would be put on guest boarding passes and check-in bags respectively, an airline spokesperson said.
The airline would accept passengers and baggage not earlier than six hours and not later than 2 hours and 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of its flights. Passengers using this facility, however, must report at Jet domestic departure gate at Terminal 30 minutes before departure.
Baggage would accordingly reach Terminal 3 baggage conveyor belt area. All baggage rules as followed presently at the Indira Gandhi International Airport will continue at the check-in facilities at the Metro stations, the spokesperson said.
The airline would also introduce Metro express line city check-ins for its international passegers after getting the requisite clearances from the regulatory authorities.
